Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison has expanded his hotel empire with the acquisition of the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Florida. The resort, located in Manalapan, is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' Legend Collection.

Ellison, who founded the Oracle software company, purchased the resort from the Lewis Trust Group, owned by the Lewis family of the UK. The purchase price was $277.39 million, according to a newly recorded deed.

The Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is a five-star resort with 309 rooms and suites, a spa, a fitness center, and multiple restaurants and bars. The resort is situated on a stretch of pristine beachfront, offering guests stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ellison's acquisition of the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa adds to his growing portfolio of hotels. He also owns the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Hawaii's Big Island, the Porcupine Creek Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California, and the Tamarack Resort in Idaho.
