Celtics Injury Updates

Porzingis Out, Celtics Hold 3-1 Lead

The Boston Celtics have been relatively healthy for the majority of the 2023-24 NBA season, but they suffered a setback in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Miami Heat.

The Celtics announced that Kristaps Porzingis will miss the remainder of Game 4 with a right ankle sprain. Porzingis suffered the injury in the third quarter and was unable to return to the game.

The Celtics were able to hold on for a 102-96 victory in Game 4, taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. However, Porzingis' injury could be a major blow to the team's chances of advancing to the Eastern Conference finals.

Porzingis is averaging 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in the playoffs. He is a key part of the Celtics' defense, and his absence will be felt on both ends of the court.
